A highly regarded real estate business based in Central London are looking for a recently qualified ACA accountant to join in a commercial FP&A role supporting one of their largest portfolios.

This real estate firm own or manage a high quality UK commercial property portfolio focussed of London offices and Retail around the UK, with their portfolio value making them one of Europe's largest listed property firms. The company are looking for someone with a good understanding of real estate/ property, but it is not necessary to have any prior commercial or FP&A experience, so long as you are keen to gain understanding of these areas. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to make a move into a commercial finance team, within a business who have a strong track record of developing their talent. The company will train and support you in this position but also offer multiple routes for progression and development depending on your preferences and skillset.

This role will be working alongside the Real Estate team providing commercial business partnering support for a key portfolio. The scope of this role includes financial analysis, cost control, setting and monitoring the budget, providing insights into performance, identifying value creating opportunities, and providing challenge in order to support decision making. In addition you will be providing analytical support for the wider FP&A and Business Partnering teams.


Role

  • Budgeting & forecasting: provide insight and analysis for the portfolio for inclusion in the group budgeting and forecasting
  • Preparation of management information for the portfolio and wider business to assist with commercial decision making and drive performance as well as improving process by which this is produced
  • Assist with and recommend any changes to process and systems to ensure the most effective working practices
  • Monitor costs against budget for the portfolio
  • Provide any information needed to the group reporting team for inclusion in group reports
  • Ad hoc analysis work e. to support transactions
