Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant with sales and purchase ledger exposure for a 9 month maternity assignment based in Worksop.
The successful candidate will play an important part in supporting the Accounts Manager and Management Accountant with the monthly transactional accounts duties, and as the business is growing and diversifying, there is absolute scope for this role to continue.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
*Daily posting of cash in the cash flow and into Sage
*Petty cash and bank reconciliation
*Setting payments up on bank when needed
*Daily / Weekly reviews of Aged Debtors and debt chasing
*Drafting late payment fees & LBA's to be signed off by Accounts Manager
*Weekly invoicing
*Scanning and distributing invoices to the customers
*Uploading sales invoices into Sage
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
- Available to start immediately or on short notice
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Microsoft Office experience, Sage advantageous
- World class customer service skills
- Working towards AAT qualification
