Group Technical Financial Manager

My client is a fast growing global media business who are recruiting a Group Technical Financial Manager. You will join the team, led by the Group Financial Controller, responsible for preparing internal and external Group results, statutory and management reporting, and board reports. This role is an excellent platform to build your career in a global organisation and move quickly into more senior and business partnering roles in the future.

You will be a motivated, technical, and highly numerate qualified accountant looking to become an integral part of the group finance team. You will be in statutory accounting, group accounts, group cash analysis, preparation of the half year and year-end financial reporting and various ad hoc tasks and projects.

 Due to the nature of this role, you will be involved in senior stakeholder management, business analysis and driving effective decision-making and building relationships across finance and with 3rd parties e.g. auditors, Corporate Finance etc.

Specifically, it will be your responsibility to deliver Group Reporting (preparation of quarterly management information for senior management and the board); Annual report, other external announcements, and Financial Statements; be a go to member of the team for technical issues; work on a high number of transactions; and assist in the end-to-end production of the Group’s statutory accounts.

The successful candidate will be a ACA qualified accountant. You will have US GAAP experince; have strong consolidation skills. Experience of an International company will be advantageous
