Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing, innovative business based in Goole, as they look to recruit a Company Accountant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The Company Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Financial Director with the Management Accounts for the group, as well as providing additional support across the wider finance function and business.
Duties of the Company Accountant will include:
* Monthly management accounts preparation
* Bookkeeping reconciliations to trial balance
* Assisting with cash flow management and budgets
* Managing company expenses
* Project work and reporting as required
* Working with the team to understand requirements and more efficient ways of working
* Being the point of escalation for complex finance queries
* Ensure smooth running of the department and deadlines are met
* Daily use of Sage Line 50 and Excel
* Ensuring smooth running of department and deadlines met
Person specification:
* Outstanding communication skills
* Previous experience working within a similar role with high level of responsibility
* Flexible, adaptable individual that always looks for new ways of working and enjoys being part of a growing, ever-changing environment
* VAT Experience
* Strong Excel and reporting skills
* Part qualified working toward Accounting qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA
