Accounts Manager

Accounts Manager, Bristol, Up to £50,000

A well established firm of accountants in Bristol is looking to recruit an accounts manager into their busy yet friendly and relaxed office. This is a fabulous opportunity for a qualified by experience accountant with much experience in practice

The accounts manager will deal with a client allocation of circa 100 owner managed business clients, being a mixture of individuals, partnerships and limited companies. These are from small self-employed individuals up to groups of companies, with the majority of trading clients trading as companies. Extensive limited company accounts experience is therefore vital.

The successful person will need to be able to review accounts, as well as being able to prepare accounts files from incomplete records as required. In depth VAT experience would also be advantageous to assist clients and other staff members.

A professional qualification is not essential for this job, however the successful candidate will need to have a proven track record in the owner managed business in a practice environment.
