VAT Manager / Senior Manager

A highly successful and growing chartered accountancy practice, based in Exeter has a requirement for an experienced VAT Manager / Senior Manager to join their highly regarded team, in a role and firm offering a clear career path and progression on offer. You will focus on delivering wide ranging advisory project work to the firm clients with scope for full/part time working arrangements and flexible mix of remote/home working to office base involvement.

Clients are very wide ranging across large corporate UK based clients, international business, charity / not for profit and other wide ranging clients.

Description

Joining the Exeter team at VAT Manager / Senior Manager with the role very much mouldable in level around the fit and background of the right professional you will carve a key position within this growing team. The work will be varied across wide ranging advisory projects advising clients on VAT implications of EU/UK working arrangements, VAT recovery and partial exemption methods, VAT implications of property developments and other wide ranging advisory work. You will build strong relationships internally and with clients and progress in your VAT career within this leading chartered firm.

Profile

You may be CTA qualified or working towards the qualification, or you may have developed your VAT career entirely through experience to date. Your background may have been gained in any accountancy practice firm background from Top Tier firm through to Mid Tier/Top 50 and independent firm environment. Or you will have a career within industry, with exposure to varied VAT issues, or have a background in HMRC specialising in VAT and be looking to transfer these skills into the accounting profession. You will most likely be operating around the VAT Manager / Senior Manager levels and be looking for a role where you can progress and develop within your career. There is scope for either a full time or part time working arrangement and agile/flexible working on offer with a mix of remote/home working to office base involvement.

Job Offer
