Senior Finance Manager

Investigo are currently recruiting for a high performing Senior Finance Manager to join a highly profitable business that is the envy of their competitors based in Leicestershire. The business has without a question gone from strength to strength.

This is a true commercial and strategic role and the successful candidate will be commercially savvy with a natural business acumen. The main focus of the role is to provide a dedicated focus on the strategic side, allowing an exceptional candidate to significantly influence the future shape of the Group.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the Senior Finance Manager is very much a business facing finance role and will involve being in regular contact with Senior Management, Functional Heads and Directors for long term decision making and acting as the main finance point of contact. Looking after the supply chain and Tech side of the business, you will support your non finance budget holders by advising and training them on any areas related to the budget process, weekly and monthly accounts and reporting, forecasting and budgeting, cost control and managing risks and opportunities. You will be the Finance lead on strategic and tactical projects, including robust financial appraisal / business cases and representation in relevant decision-making groups. Ensure that processes, reports, systems stay relevant for changing business needs. Management and development of a team of four, as well as shared responsibility for broader development of the finance team

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven business partnering experience and ability to influence and guide decision making. Experience of finance partnering at senior levels - with experience in digital, supply chain, technology or retail/brands a bonus. Proven ability to deliver insight, support the creation of complex business cases and recommend actions. A 'continuous improvement' mindset - with proven achievements in adapting and enhancing processes. Do not hesitate in applying.
