Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working in partnership with a growing firm based in the Rotherham area on an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and switched on Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a 12 month basis to cover a maternity leave period.
If you are looking for a role in a fast paced business, where you will sit within a centralised team, but dealing with multiple sites, and will be fully supported, look no further!
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Assisting with the monthly management accounts preparation
* Balance Sheet reconciliations including trending of balances
* Intercompany reconciliations
* VAT returns
* Maintenance of the fixed asset register
* Ad-hoc journals including payroll weekly journals
* Month end reporting and reconciliations
* Any other ad-hoc projects / analysis as required by the wider team/business
Person specification:
*At least 2 years' experience within a similar Assistant Accountant role
*AAT Qualified / Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
*Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels
*Excellent IT skills including Excel (pivot tables & v lookups)
