Elevation are delighted to be working with an International business who are looking for a talented and ambitious Financial Controller to take on a key role within the Group.

The Financial Controller manages and maintains the accounting operations of the organisation by producing periodic financial reports, maintaining a system of accurate accounting records, and upholding a comprehensive set of controls and budgets. In addition, the Financial Controller ensures that reported results comply with accounting standards and current legislation. In addition to the core duties, during 2021 there is a planned implementation of SAP and as a business they always have a keen eye on acquisitions and so there will always be involvement in interesting project work.

Ideally you will be a Qualified FM/Senior FA, with a strong technical background - but with the personality to partner with other areas of the UK finance function. You will be managing a small but talented team, so the client is looking for someone comfortable in mentoring individuals and managing workloads.

Whilst this is a technically focused role, the amount of project based work, variety in duties and need to liaise across the business ensure that this is a role that will certainly keep you both busy and motivated. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation, that is forward thinking in its approach. Whilst the offices are based in Sheffield, flexible working including 2/3 days at home will be on offer 'post-Covid', and the role comes with an excellent benefits package, as well as the chance to work with a personable and energetic team.

Aside from the great position on offer, this is also a brilliant long term career move for anyone with aspirations - and this role will open up many opportunities both internally and externally on the wider market.
