International Payroll Manager job opportunity for established management consultancy business in London

Your new company
My client is an established management consultancy business based in the heart of London but offering remote working. This is a global business offering a range of advisory, consulting, outsourcing, and technology services to clients across over 50 countries. Due to business growth they are looking to hire a International Payroll Specialist on a temporary to permanent basis.

Your new role
Working as the International Payroll Specialist you will have one direct report and be responsible for a payroll over nearly 500 employees across the UK, EMEA, APAC and the UAE. You will be using ADP for the UK payroll and a range of international providers for the other country payrolls. You will be responsible for calculating and processing bonuses, expat and shadow payrolls. You'll be required to deal with high net worth individuals and to also assist with the project of setting up the payroll for a new international entity in the next 4 months. Other duties will include:

  • Responsible for the full payroll process from new employee to leaver.
  • Updating ADP/relevant local providers with all relevant information, and completing all payroll adjustments
  • Reconciliation of payroll spreadsheets each month
  • Payments made via Bacs transfer, uploaded on the HSBC Platform or by AP Payment request
  • Payroll account reconciliations for all entities
  • SOX compliance
  • Annual Company Audit
  • Administration of all benefits including pensions
  • Annual returns to HMRC - Relevant Tax Authorities; P60s; P11D
  • End of year returns for UK and relevant end of year documentation for all regions
  • PSA Return - meals, staff entertainment, ground transportation (taxi's)
  • Employee Share Return
  • Finance responsibilities Variances analysis, journals, P&L queries and support during year end audit process


What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must be available on short notice and have extensive international payroll experience. It is also necessary you have shadow payroll exposure and experience dealing with bonuses and other benefits.
