Finance Director

Mallory Partners have been retained by a Pre-IPO CBD and Medicinal Cannabis company to recruit a Finance Director. The business is in one of the fastest growing sectors globally and has already successfully launched its products into national supermarket chains and online retailers. They have also acquired complimentary businesses and will be proceeding with an IPO this year. The role reports to the CFO and will be heavily involved in the IPO process while also managing the day-to-day activities of the finance function.

Main Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day activities of the finance department.
• Working alongside the CFO and external partners in the preparation for the IPO.
• Assisting in the due diligence and integration of acquisitions.
• Managing the technical elements of the finance department including financial accounting, audit, and financial modelling.

To be considered for the role you must:

• Be a qualified accountant – ideally ACA
• Have a strong technical understanding of financial accounting and audit.
• Be hands on, dynamic and able to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• IPO experience would be highly beneficial.
