Job Description:

As an Audit Senior you will lead site audit teams, providing a hands-on approach to delivering a service that exceeds a clients' expectations and supports your partner and team in the following:
* Preparation of each audit plan and ensuring that each meet with audit objectives
* Leading fraud discussions to identify audit risks and appropriate strategies
* Overseeing all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
* Overseeing the team to ensure that clients' audits are appropriately completed and to professional standards
* Working with a Partner to address any issues that arise during the audit process
* Preparation and reviewing of audit documentation and drafts of the financial statements using Caseware
* Training and coaching of junior members of the Audit team and delegating work as appropriate
* Production of commercial management reports
* Ensuring each audit is completed to timescales, budgets, and risk management procedures
* Providing feedback through regular communication and timely assignment appraisal
* Maintains an understanding and working relations with clients and communicates services
* Actively involved in office marketing events
* Commercially aware relating to productivity, recoverability, fee income and client service
* Consistently developing both technical/personal skills and records for compliance purposes
* Maintaining an understanding of audit methodology and Caseware audit software
* Some assignments may require travel to other offices in East Anglia

The successful Applicant

  • FQ: ACA, ACCA or ACMA
  • Working knowledge of a professional accountancy practice and working with an external client base
  • Experience of computerised audit packages
  • Experience of coaching or mentoring colleagues
