Resourcery Group are suppporting a sizeable Not for Profit company to bring on board a qualified accountant into a Finance Manager role for a period of 12 months. This organisation are looking for an experience Finance Manager on a Fixed Term Contract basis to manage a transactional finance team and to assess whether the workflows are optimised and whether improvements need to be implemented. This is a great oppportunity allowing you to utilise your change management skills to develop a strong framework for streamlined and effective transformation.

The role:
- You will collaborate across teams to identify areas for improvement, support production of reports and information for decision making and effective benchmarking
- Driving continuous development of system functionality and transaction processing, you will streamline processes and work with external providers and internal stakeholders to develop innovative solutions
- Leading the Accounts Payable/Receivable and Cashbook teams you will maximise the use of technology to improve efficiency in data processing and manage risk and systems controls
- You will pursue and collect customer feedback and views to support service development and undertake and share benchmarking data to determine trends.
- You will provide data assurance to ensure that information decisions are made at the right level
- You will identify, build and develop an extensive network of external contacts to keep abreast of best practice and benchmarking
- Acting as a role model, you will provide line management to your team and effectively manage resources
- It is essential that you have experience in delivering support to internal and external customers and managing and reporting financial performance information
The ideal candidate:
- Fully qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Be able to lead, manage and motivate a team of transactional finance staff
- Be a strong communicator as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Be able to bring best practice ideas to the table and deliver a blue print for success
- Willing to commit to a 12 month engagement
