Financial Controller

Due to continued growth my Private Equity backed client within the service sector is seeking a Financial Controller to support the Financial Director and senior management team in taking the business to the next level.

Whilst reporting into the Financial Director you will take ownership of a small team covering all areas of finance in this hands on role and will play an active part in driving future growth and acquisitions whilst developing the Financial Controls.

Day to day duties and accountabilities include:

Management and development of the finance team including appraisals, one to one's and delegation of work.

Management reporting, assisting with short/long term financial planning, development of KPI's and assisting with the budgeting and forecasting cycles.

Ensuring that process and controls are developed and adhered to whilst continuously improving controls and related systems to accommodate future growth.

Management of all Financial reporting including statutory requirements to deadlines, VAT, Tax and audit.

Oversight and development of all transactional finance and related processes such as Payroll, Credit Control. Payables and receivables.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Finance Manager/Controller, ACA, ACCA or CIMA with a strong work ethic and an appetite to drive a business forward.

It is important that you are prepared to be hands on in all areas of finance including reconciliations and posting Journals
