My client is a listed group involved in the manufacture of specialist products for blue-chip customers operating in worldwide markets. The company has a global footprint and is aiming to double in size over the next few years through a combination of both organic growth and acquisition.

There is a requirement to strengthen the head office team with the appointment of a Group Financial Controller who alongside the Group Financial Director, will take ownership of a range of key duties.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the management of the year end reporting and audit cycle, consolidating the group monthly financial reporting, preparing the annual report, managing the group finance function, integrating acquisitions, co-ordinating the budget process, tax & cash planning, together with acting as the principal contact for external advisors.

In addition, you will be expected to build effective relationships with subsidiary finance teams and add value through the analysis of financial data to help understand and enhance business performance.

You will be a technically strong qualified accountant with a proven track record of success in a listed business, ideally within the manufacturing sector. You should possess prior experience of group reporting disciplines in a multi-site, multi-currency environment and have the skill set to lead and develop a finance team.
