Our client are a small SME and this role takes responsibility for all aspects of day to day accounting with 1 direct report.
This role is a broad Financial Controller/Finance Manager role and you will be responsible day to day for:
- Daily cashflow management, reporting and forecasting
- Oversee all purchase ledger payments
- Monthly management accounts including the production of monthly MI reporting
- Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Budgeting/forecasting
- Employee Payroll
- Overseeing all ledger activity including - sales invoices, petty cash, expenses (management of the Accounts Assistant)
- Year End preparation/POC for External Auditors
In addition it would be ideal if you have experience with HR/Employee matters - (offer letters, employee contracts etc) and Health and Safety.
Our client is keen to attract a candidate who already has experience within other smaller organisations as this role is truly hands on in all elements of accounting. There will be plenty of opportunity to make improvements including processes, procedures and financial reporting. Perhaps this would be an opportunity to step up in to a Finance Manager role for you?
