SF Group are currently recruiting for a Warwickshire based client who are looking for a Head of Consolidation and Reporting on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will have responsibility for managing 2 junior members of staff who will look to you for guidance and development in their career.
My client is looking for a technically proficient candidate who has excellent communication skills and who will be able to grow with the business. You will be responsible for overseas reporting and setting up new companies as well as acquisition accounting. As well as this statutory reporting will fall to you. Strong knowledge of tax is imperative for this role as is the ability to manage and motivate your team.
This role requires an individual who is very used to looking at issues and fixing them. You may not necessarily know all of the answers but you will have the skill and ability to know where to look and to apply your technical knowledge to real life working situations.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) and will ideally come from a practice background.
