We are delighted to be assisting our local client recruit an experience qualified Management Accountant into their finance team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance your role will be pivotal to the success and growth of the business.

  • Production of timely and accurate management accounts
  • Reporting of operational issues and identifying weaknesses and opportunities to the directors.
  • Taking on board projects for the directors and seeing them through to the end
  • Assisting in developing financial and operational systems within the business to achieve better control of projects
  • Developing simple operating and reporting structures within the business, communicating and implementing them to the rest of the team.
  • Maintaining day to day bookkeeping, cash management and record keeping and ensuring consistency of document control across the business.
  • Reporting weekly/ monthly on key performance indicators from across the business and maintaining weekly cashflows for the different parts of the business.
  • Production of quarterly management reports for relevant companies
  • Coordinating the production of and delivering annual budgets, company cash flow forecasts and ad-hoc project forecasts in conjunction with the directors.
  • Ensuring regulatory matters are kept up to date (e. PAYE, VAT, Company returns etc).
  • Providing support and basic information for the preparation of year end financial statements and audit.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced fully qualified management accountant/finance manager/assistant account/assistant financial controller who has a previous track record of delivering management accounts in a timely and effective manner.
