The Finance & Accountancy Division at SF Recruitment is currently working in partnership with an established and forward thinking business based on the out skirts of Kettering. My client has a strong growth plan for the coming years and to help with hat they need an experienced Financial Controller with exceptional business partnering knowledge. This role will be reporting directly in to the CFO and will be fully accountable for the Finance function, including managing a small team. The role is roughly split 60% Financial Controller role and 40% Business Partnering duties.

As the Financial Controller, you main duties will include:
- Producing monthly P&L, Balance sheet and cash flow reporting for the Group
- 12 month budgeting and forecasting
- Producing KPI reports
- VAT reporting on a quarterly basis for the Group
- Responsible for all the accounting function - purchase ledger/ sales ledger/ credit control and other accounting activities
- Monthly payroll and pension
- Drive the business forward with the Directors and be able to challenge commercial finance decisions
- Working closely with senior managers to ensure Group activities have been achieved
- Providing commercial support to the Senior Management Team
- Working to a high standard in line with UK statutory regulations and company compliance guidelines
- Continually looking to improve accounting controls and policies
- Managing a small team

As the Financial Controller, you must have the following skill and attributes to be considered for the role:
- Qualified Accountant - ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA
- Must have experience of a leadership position and managed small teams
- Vast experience as Financial Controller and Finance Business Partnering roles
- Experience of working for SME/ Medium Size businesses
- Strong accounting standards
- Experience of payroll and pension submissions
- Gravitas to partner with the MD/ CFO
- Commercial and Technical accounting knowledge
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
