SF Recruitment are currently working with a successful manufacturing business based in West Bromwich. They are currently looking to bring on board a hungry Finance Trainee to join their dynamic and friendly team. This role will ideally be suited to an AAT qualified or and early stage studying (ACCA/CIMA) candidate looking to progress, work closely and learn from an experienced Finance Manager.
Key skills:
- Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts.
- Help prepare the Monthly Accounts file and perform balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis for Finance Manager review.
- Support the Finance Manager in the preparation of Group Reporting Pack.
- In readiness for the Annual External Audit, assist in the preparation of the Year End Audit File.
- Deal with any queries raised by the External Auditors.
- Inform the Finance Manager of any day to day problems.
- Prepare the quarterly VAT return for Finance Manager to review.
- Posting of monthly wages and salaries journals and ensure reconciliation to control accounts.
- Provide cover for Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Treasury when required.
- Continued development of Navision Financials.
