Hays are supporting a well established professional serviced organisation based in Coleshill to recruit a Group Financial Accountant on a 15 month Fixed Term Contract. The company are specialist leaders in their field and continue to enjoy strong growth. The role is looking for someone who can start on short notice and commit to a 15 month contract. .

Your new role
As Group Financial Accountant you will be responsible for looking after a number of different legal entities and will report directly into the Group Finance Director. This is a head office position with no direct reports and will focus on the production of the UK Group Accounts, consolidations and statutory accounts preparation. Key duties of the role are enclosed below:
* Producing monthly consolidated group accounts ensuring compliance with FRS 102.
* Producing consolidated group management pack and presenting the results to the main board.
* Group and subsidiary budgeting, forecasts, and variance analysis.
* Provide support to the finance teams.
* Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
* Undertake internal audit to ensure compliance of group accounting policies.
* Attending main board meetings.
* Liaising with external auditors to ensure a timely completion and approval of statutory accounts.
* Assist with group project work providing analytical and business modelling support.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully Qualified Accountant with excellent technical financial accounting knowledge gained either within industry or practice. The ideal applicant will be on short notice or immediately available and be happy to join the company for an initial 15 month contract. Statutory reporting knowledge and understanding of FRS102 is also beneficial.
