We currently have a great opportunity for a Stock Systems and Audit Manager to join a large and growing organisation in Plymouth.

Reporting to the Financial Controller your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee and make recommendations to tracking systems to ensure accuracy of stock holding
  • Ensure effective stock auditing across all departments and the business
  • Review planning and active management of the PI program
  • Reconciling stock movements against stock holding
  • Evaluate root cause factors for stock reporting discrepancies and recommend practical solutions
  • Report on and evaluate reasons for adjustments to stockholdings
  • Implement KPIs to monitor and improve stock management processes
  • Provide statistical stock holding reports
  • Work with stakeholders to enhance reporting on stock holding

Skills & Requirements

  • A background and/or detailed understanding of stock management is essential
  • High level of analytical and numeracy skills
  • Have the ability to analyse performance and make effective decisions to ensure KPI's are delivered
  • Have the ability build relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in relation to the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
