Disruptive, innovative and customer centric are all descriptors for ABPM's client funded and with an exciting outlook, a new leadership team is coming together post acquisition that will drive the profitable growth strategy that they are already set upon and hence the creation of this new role.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be a member of the senior leadership team contributing to the business objectives by providing financial and commercial direction, influence and planning ensuring all statutory legislative, risk and financial responsibilities are met. This role drives the business agenda forward from a financial, operational risk and operations perspective. The job holder will be a fully integrated leader in the life of the business. A finance to define and drive the financial strategy and deliver effective risk management.
In summary you will drive the firm's financial planning ensuring financial objectives are met and support the CEO to ensure performance objectives are met; You will direct the planning and preparation of annual reports and management accounts having set the accounting procedures and policies, ensure they meet accounting requirements and are consistent with Board decisions.
You will manage the cash and capital positions and in tandem oversee the development of the firm's budget and forecasts, in consultation with the business heads and CEO. On a broader note you will hold the key external advisory relationships, oversee the operational risk framework of the business.
Your background will be one of extensive senior level financial & management accountancy experience as a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), with significant managerial and leadership experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment that is PE/VC owned. As a strong communicator with exceptional influencing skills you will be a strategic thinker and commercially astute.
