Financial Accountant

A fantastic opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a market-leading business based at their site on the outskirts of York, North Yorkshire.

Reporting to the Financial Controller within a fast-paced, manufacturing business, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Production of group and subsidiary statutory financial reporting
• Support with writing and producing strategic and directors reporting
• Develop the accounting policies for the business to ensure they remain fit for purpose
• Work closely with the Tax team to ensure all statutory and compliance requirements are met
• Liaise effectively with internal and external audit teams

To be considered for this Financial Accountant position and be successful in the post, you will need the following:

• ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualification with experience gained in an accountancy firm or industry
• Previous Audit experience would be advantageous
• Excellent technical accounting skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to specified timescales
• Ability to communicate well across all levels and channels to build effective working relationships
• Strong IT skills
