Finance Manager - Property Development. Our Client have a proven and longstanding track record of delivery within the real estate sector, with a particular focus on property development, investment and regeneration within the United Kingdom. They consistently deliver notable development and investment projects in both the residential and commercial sectors. Over the last several years they have shown significant growth across all aspects of the business.

The Role of the Finance Manager will be reporting to the Financial Controller. This role will be significant in companies audit planning process. The duties and responsibilities will include the below:

• Overseeing and managing a team of accountants and accounts assistants.
• Reviewing all the financial and management accounts prepared by other team members.
• Taking full ownership of the audit process from planning to making changes at the end of the process.
• Supporting in the preparation of year-end packs.
• Getting involved with the preparation of consolidated balance sheet and P&L.
• Delivering the quarterly reporting.
• Calculating profit shares for joint venture schemes.
• Assisting in the management of the quarter and month-end processes.
• Supporting the team in computations regarding tax.
• Ensuring the reporting and reconciliation of joint venture accounts.
• Analysing the cost of sales.
• Producing various reports including regional development, sales reports for the board.

The Person must be qualified (ACA or ACCA) with a proven track record of working with other property development or investment companies (2 - 4 years). The incumbent will be commercially aware, analytical and able to work as part of a team as well as having the ability to lead and manage. Good, solid IT systems are required which means the person will have excellent Excel skills and experience of using other accounting systems.
