Finance Manager - Aberdare - £38,000 to £45,000 + Bens - Manufacturing

Your new company is a manufacturing organisation with sites in the UK and Europe. They are a specialist within their industry and market leader.

Your new role
You`ll report into the on site managing director. This is a key hire for he business, this broad role will take lead on the UK manufacturing sites finances, reporting the results up into the corporate accounting head office based in Europe. As such, an understanding of both UK GAAP and IFRS would be advantageous.

Duties to include ;

• Timely and correct financial reporting (UK GAAP and IFRS
• Timely and correct recording of payables/receivables and preparing payments
• Managing accounting-related activities such as VAT
• Be in control of financial statements positions (such as reconciliations of balance sheet positions with sub-ledgers, maintaining fixed asset register)
• First contact for auditors

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you`ll be a qualified or QBE accountant. You`ll have good technical accounting knowledge and not afraid to get stuck into the accounts from a top to bottom level in a fast paced SME manufacturing environment
