Accountant - Professional Services - £35,000 - Cardiff

Your new role
Your new role is a crucial hire for the business and will take a senior role within the finance team.

This unique role has 2 aspects. Firstly, providing in-house accounting support for the business and secondly, providing client accounting support for a portfolio of customers.

The in-house duties are to include but not limited to ;-

• Monthly Management Accounts
• Cashflow forecasts
• Prepare Annual Budget / Cost variance analysis
• Manage annual audit / liaise with accountants on Corporation Tax + Partnership tax returns
• Annual Partnership Accounts
• Monthly bank reconciliations

Client accounting duties to include but not limited to ;-

• Service charges
• VAT returns
• Monthly / Quarterly / Annul reporting (depending on client)
• Preparing annual client accounts

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with hands on accounts preparation experience within an SME.
• Strong attention to detail, a right first-time mentality
• Good team player with the ability to work independently too
• Someone willing to chip in and "get their hands dirty" this person will be doing everything from data entry to higher level technical accounting
