Your new company
A leading and internationally recognised organisation based in Oxfordshire is actively seeking a recently qualified ACA/ACCA accountant, looking for a first move into industry from practice. The role will sit within the Central finance team and support the wider business with a range of financial reporting and technical accounting support.

Your new role
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the consolidation of month end operating results, and cash flow based on divisional submissions, alongside the analytical review of results against forecast and budget to identify risks and opportunities. In addition, you will be controlling the year-end process and prepare the statutory accounts for all UK trading companies. You will also be required to review the Group's Tax requirements and liaise with external advisory teams. Finally, you will be expected to actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects in both process and systems, as well as provide ad hoc reporting upon request.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will likely be a practiced trained accountant, recently qualified in ACA or ACCA and looking for a first move into industry, possessing several years of technical accounting experience. In addition, you will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and show comfort in managing workload to meeting deadlines. Being a team player with a keen eye for efficiencies and improvements will also stand you in good stead.
