Finance Director required to support and drive growth of this market-leading engineering business in Leicester

This market leading engineering business have experienced year-on-year growth in recent times and are recognised a true market leader, dealing with some of the biggest names in the UK. In order to support this continued growth, the decision has been made to appoint a qualified finance leader to support the Managing Director in driving these strategies and plans.

Your new role
As Finance Director you will be responsible for the financial, commercial and strategic management of the business, leading a small team in the provision of value-add information to support decision making.
You will lead the statutory and regulatory reporting for the UK and overseas subsidiary as well as leading on the annual forecasting, budgeting and planning cycle.
Other key duties will include contract management, VAT and tax returns, analysis and reporting, managing bank relationships, ad-hoc project work, audit, compliance and risk and other duties as directed.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a proven leader with strong financial and commercial experience gained within industry. You will be able to work with operational staff to support business innovations and be constantly looking to improve processes, systems and business streams, improving profitability.
You will be a qualified accountant with a desire to join a forward-thinking business at the forefront of their industry who are keen to grow to the next level.
