Finance Manager

Sharp Consultancy are proudly working with a growing business in Sheffield, in recruiting a Finance Manager position to join the Senior Management Team.

This newly created role will be working closely with the Finance Director and the wider business, where you will prepare financial reports to assess the financial performance of the business.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting, including managing a team of 2 and will suit a commercially astute and strategic thinker with the ability to present findings to people across departments. Ideally you will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA), but the role is open to QBE individuals who can evidence the below criteria.

Other responsibilities will include:

*Examine and analyse financial information
*Present findings (written and verbal) to senior management and Directors
*Support business profitability and growth through findings and recommendations
*Prepare month end and year end reports
*Cash flow management
*Analyse current accounting systems, making suggestions for improvements
*Supervise and lead the team
*Prepare and submit VAT returns
*Liaise with external auditors
*Budgeting & forecasting
*Prepare all relevant financial reports
*Reconciliation accounts
*Maintenance of balance sheets
