Interim Group Financial Controller - PLC

Communicate are working with a FTSE listed Fashion Retailer based in Central London whilst they recruit for a Group Financial Controller. 

This role will be for an initial 3 to 6 months and looking to recruit an immediate starter. This role would report into the Group Finance Director and will have 9 direct and indirect reports. 

The client would be looking to engage with a contractor who has come from a B2C background and in a similar sector. 

Given the financial reporting and technical acumen required for this role, the client is looking for an ACA qualified candidate with Big 4 training and strong academics. 

Other key responsibilities include:

• Group consolidations and reporting, and supporting the divisional finance team
• Working with external auditors on delivering a streamlined Year End
• Hold strong IFRS knowledge and UK GAAP expertise
• Have held like for like roles in similarly technical and financial reporting roles
