An ambitious construction and development business dedicating to deliver excellent service for both private and public customers is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to further support their operation in Kent. Based remotely, this is a full-time, permanent position.

About the Role

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting various commercial projects. You will:

• Raise and follow up on sales invoices;
• Process weekly supplier payments and reconcile accounts;
• Ensure suppliers are paid within credit terms agreed;
• Complete expenses posting and analysis onto system;
• Ensure queries on invoices are processes with in a timely manner;
• Manage customer queries, such as invoices and payment notices; and
• Assist in ad hoc project assignments.

About You

Applications are invited from Accounts Payable Assistants who demonstrate:

• A degree in Accounting & Finance. AAT qualified or studying towards accountancy qualification;
• Experience working within a property management or construction business would be an advantage;
• Willingness to learn, take initiatives and support ad hoc duties;
• Great team player and ability to build positive relationship across the business;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365; and
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Salary

On offer for the Accounts Payable Assistant will be £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
