Accountant - Consultancy


Your new company
International Consultancy with offices in London are looking for an Accountant to join their team. The company consists of 10-20 employees, therefore you will have exposure to other areas of the business and work closely with senior stakeholders.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the entire accounting portfolio in all countries of operation including - but not limited to - day-to-day account keeping, providing advice to key stakeholders, auditing accounts and keeping financial records.

  • Input and oversee all Company accounts and investments reporting using Xero Advanced and Project software to manage all individual countries accounts and to consolidate the group accounts in US dollars.
  • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
  • Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
  • Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
  • Collaborate with auditing services, when required, to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Develop budgets and financial plans for the group and individual companies based on research and data reports.
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
  • Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
  • Report to the CEO with timely and accurate financial information.
  • Assist the CEO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will be an industry trained qualified accountant. You will have experience within an SME organisation. Experience with Xero is preferred but not essential. You will have the ability to work with senior stakeholder.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of £45,000 + bonus/benefits. You will work closely with the CEO and COO and will get wide exposure to other areas of the business. Due to the nature of the size of company, excellent work will be recognised and rewarded.
