Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Senior Payroll Specialist for a forward thinking business based in Rotherham, to support with managing the end-to-end payroll function including weekly and monthly processing, right up to period end reporting and systems improvement. The business is going through system changes, as well as growth, so needs an experienced candidate, to be able to hit the ground running.
The successful candidate will be employed on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract. Ensuring targets and work quality is maintained in a timely manner, as well as having a hands-on approach with the day to day payroll processing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Control all Payroll data, including inputting, deletion and updating - including starters/leavers, managing time and attendance system and data input
* Issue all tax forms including payslips, P45's and P60's for all relevant employees
* Process weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring all deadlines are met
* Process and deal with all elements of employee pensions, including all aspects of auto-enrolment, pension changes while ensuring government legislation is always adhered to
* Deal with all employee payroll queries
* Assist with audit, legislative payroll reporting & requirements
* Supporting with system changes
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently looking for individuals with the following skills and experiences:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within a senior payroll position
- Strong communication skills (essential)
- Must have strong system skills, as well as ideally strong Excel (LOOKUPS & PIVOT TABLES)
- Available to start on short notice or immediately available to commit to 9 month assignment
