Elevation Recruitment Group is currently working with a major organisation in Leeds that are currently seeking a Finance Transformation Lead.

Do you have experience of delivering large, complex business and functional change activities within a mix of areas including Finance and Accounting, Financial and Operational Planning. Are you passionate about change management and have highly developed capabilities in relationship building and delivering results in complex environments.

This is an 18-month contract whereby you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of the program. Acting as the bridge between the technical subject matter experts and the end client and will therefore need exceptional stakeholder management skills. You will also have a significant track record in leading and motivating project teams tasked with planning and delivering transformational change within business functions.

Main duties will include:

-Providing change delivery leadership for strategic, complex, and business critical groups of initiatives, focused on ensuring key milestones are met to time, quality and cost
-Coordinating activities across multiple delivery teams, ensuring the priorities and associated outputs and objectives are clearly defined and understood
-Leading delivery teams and projects, ensuring alignment of deliverables to organisational, functional and stakeholder needs
-Developing strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including management of supplier contracts
-Identify blockers, and implement innovative and pragmatic solutions to risks and issues that may arise
-Facilitating and championing good change delivery practice and robust, effective governance
-Ensuring delivery team progress is transparent and that effective project governance is in place to provide key fora and senior stakeholders with the necessary level of assurance
-Upskilling of internal resource to facilitate a handover of change delivery accountabilities to the business and build change capability.

Experience Required:

-Significant experience of leading transformational change initiatives which have delivered a range of tangible benefits
-Expertise in a mix of the following areas: Service Strategy Development, facilitating the review of service operating models & structures, Systems & Data related transformational change activity
-Track record of change delivery in large organisations
-Specialist knowledge in Finance and Accounting, Financial and Operational Planning
-Able to move fluently between strategic thinking and the detail of day-to-day delivery
-Track record in applying best practice in both change delivery
-Skilled at stakeholder management and building & leading effective teams
-Preparedness to get involved in the personal delivery of outputs and outcomes
-Comfortable managing the interfaces between technical specialists, subject matter experts and project managers
