Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a Credit Manager for a Manufacturing organisation in Halifax. A market leader in their field and going through a time of growth. They are easily accessible and have on-site parking and other amenities which make it a great place to work.

The Credit Manager will provide the leadership and direction to maximise debtor performance whilst minimising bad debt losses. They will also provide support to the business to help maximise sales growth and profitability. You will play a leading role in the long term development of the department in a fast-paced environment working with the wider Senior Management team to achieve timely resolution to overdue debt issues, leading and implementing strategic initiatives in order to drive the business forward and ensure continuous improvement.

The role will include the following duties:-

- Lead, support and inspire the team to drive debt collection and reduce levels of overdue debts
- Establish agreed team targets and KPI's and monitor progress against these objectives
- Develop and improve customer collection techniques with team individuals
- Manage all debtors ledgers across a multi-company Group
- Produce and review appropriate operational reports that analyse performance
- Maintain regular sales ledger reviews and ensure Directors have full visibility of the debt
- Set and monitor appropriate KPI's to help measure department performance according to business goals and objectives
- Lead regular debt review meetings with local Stakeholders to resolve outstanding debt queries
- Liaise directly with regional offices to ensure compliance with customer requirements

To be successful for this role the candidate must demonstrate the following skills and experiences:-

- Strong B2B collections experience
- Knowledge and experience in collecting multi-site, multi- discipline debt on differing platforms
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritising and handling multiple tasks, whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Stakeholders
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong Excel and system experience
