Financial Management is at the heart of their success and they have created a role that will be instrumental in driving their financial performance forward. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the main purpose of this role is to deliver effective and efficient business partnering and financial services to Landlord and Subsidiaries. You’ll lead on the delivery of financial insight, intelligence and advice across all group activities, enabling us to meet our corporate plan ambitions and maintain their financial strength.
 
Within this role you’ll be responsible for:
●     Operationally leading on the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts in relation to landlord services and subsidiaries
●     Leading on the production of timely and accurate management accounts, liaising with managers and supporting and advising on the development of strategies
●     Supporting subsidiary growth ambitions
●     Providing support, advice and challenge to the group transformation programme, ensuring that transformation projects are accurately reflected in budgets and financial plans
●     Developing and implementing robust investment appraisal models for asset regeneration, investment and other capital expenditure
●     Providing support, advice and analysis on financial aspects of projects across the group
●     Managing and leading the team, ensuring the continuous development of people, processes and systems
●     Taking overall accountability for financial management and resource deployment for the team
 
To be successful in this role you will:
●     Hold a CCAB qualification or equivalent with extensive business partner experience at a senior level
●     Ideally have experience from within housing or construction
●     Have significant experience of providing management accounting services to a range of clients including subsidiary organisations
●     Have experience in supporting successful commercial growth
●     Be experienced in the development of financial reporting systems and processes
●     Be confident in management change and delivering intelligence led improvements
●     Be able to building effective working relationships with ease
●     Have experience of leading, inspiring and developing staff
●     Be highly motivated and resilient and will demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and an inquisitive approach to challenge and seek continuous improvement
●     Be passionate and committed to inspire others to change
