SF Group are working within an SME business in Derby looking to recruit a Finance Director. The role will work closely with the Managing Director whilst managing a team of two. The key responsibilities will include:
o Provide financial leadership in the implementation of robust financial systems, budgeting, forecasting and planning process.
o Control all financial and accountancy matters including month end reports, management accounts, cash flow management, statutory accounts, compliance, presentation of management information and KPIs
o Support the business through change and growth periods, coordinating corporate finance, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions, as appropriate
o Working with the MD, manage all financial forecasts and budget activities
o Advise the Board on all financial matters
My client is looking for a CIMA qualified accountant that has significant experience of working within small to medium sized organisations. You will need to have a strong technical background as well as sound management accounting experience.
