Interim Transactional Services Director

Interim Head of Transactional Services - 6 Months - West Midlands - Circa £550 per day

Reporting to the UK leadership team of a £500MN turnover, international group, I have an immediate requirement for an Interim Head of Transactional Services. The successful candidate will be focused on delivering process improvement within their transnational finance function before handing over to the permanent counterpart once the change has been delivered and the new structure is agreed. The candidate will operate largely remotely with 1 day per week in the Midlands office.

Specific challenges within Shared Services are born out of the buy and build strategy which delivered them such fast growth. The focus of the role will be to deliver process improvement across AP, AR, and CC. This is a very hands on 'player manager' role with leadership of a small team. Additional focus will be required to help get a handle on old debt and to create and implement a BAU WIP process. Around 20% of this role will support the integration of newly acquired businesses into the central functions.

The organisation has been through a massive transformation over the last 18 months so a candidate that is comfortable operating within a complex change environment from a consultancy background would suit the role well.
