Interim Project Accountant

Your new company
You will be joining a dynamic and innovative global group, working within this group headquarters. You will be working within a professional FP&A team, in modern, spacious open plan offices, based in Bournemouth. You will be working within a friendly team, with a relaxed dress code, flexible hours and free onsite parking, currently home based.

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of FP&A, you will be part of a small team, the project accountant is responsible for all aspects of project accounting (actual/forecast/budget) for numerous live contracts/projects. Liaising heavily with the CFO, project managers and operations re project revenue, budgets and monthly MI and analysis. You will be interpreting and dissecting the monthly reporting (including variances), budgets and forecasts and providing commercial insights.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have project/long term contract accounting experience including revenue recognition. Ideally you will have experience from a manufacturing/engineering or product focused business.
