Debt Financing Consultant

This role will suit someone perfectly who has a background in Accounting and Finance but looking for a very client focused role consulting with new clients on how to raise debt through debt financing facilities. My client are a well regarded FTSE250 listed challenger Bank with a strong presence in the invoice financing sector.

You will actively seek out new businesses, analyse their financial statements, P&Ls and balance sheets and put together a debt finance proposal to ensure their cash flow remains high. This will suit someone who comes from an Audit/Corporate Finance/Insolvency/Restructuring background that is technically financially savvy, but also someone who has a flair and appetite for sales and winning new business.

You'll be responsible for negotiating terms with the client but also the internal credit teams to ensure that the deal is done.

With multiple hires, we are looking for 2 Commercial Consultants that will look after the South West, and East (Essex) - your clients will typically be sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with up to £2 turnover. Finally a Commercial Consultant dealing with limited companies with between £2 to £60m turnover, offering highly complex debt finance structures.

You'll be based from home, with travel required to meet clients, and also for monthly and quarterly team meetings in Brighton.
