Our success is founded on the talent of our employees, so we recognise the importance of personal growth, encouragement and earned rewards. As a company, we want you to share in our achievements and we want to be a conduit for your success.

Due to recent and continuing Group expansion through acquisitions, we are looking to recruit an ambitious individual to join the team to assist with the ongoing growth and challenges that RSK has set itself. This is a key hire and will provide vital day to day support to the business.  We are open to applications for both full and part time hours in this role. The position will be challenging and varied giving the successful candidate a great opportunity to expand both their administrative, financial and IT systems skills.

  • Work with the staff (generally accounts, but not always) to educate them as to RSK’s reporting requirements, and set up processes to meet the requirements
  • Assist with the annual processes for budgets and audits
  • Provide financial analysis and support to the Executive team as and when required
  • Identify improvements to financial processes and systems

The team also deals with other reporting such as Sales Sector Analysis, Capex Analysis, National Statistics returns, ‘Flash’ KPI reporting including entities not on our systems. The successful candidate would be involved with one or more of these.

Desired Experience

We would expect the successful candidate to hold a Chartered Accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) and it is essential that the successful candidate is able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a finance position and has a good level of numeracy and literacy. The nature of the role demands candidates who are self-driven and happy working autonomously.

It would be advantageous if the candidate had prior experience of working in an international role, including liaising with local accountants and auditors. This would be either within Europe or more Globally.

Previous experience of working for an acquisitive Group or of moving accounting from one system to another would be very helpful.

Prior experience of statutory accounts production software would be advantageous but not essential.
