We’re seeking a proactive and organised Finance Business Support Clerk to join our busy team at our Head Office in Ripon.
This is a fixed term position for 12 months working 37.5 hours a week on a shift pattern Monday to Friday between 8:30am – 5pm.
About the role
Responding to queries of invoices and reconciliation of supplier statements
Ownership of supplier accounts
Resolving queries and disputes and processing credit notes
Working as part of a team to make sure all internal processes are adhered to
Working as part of a team within targets and SLA’s
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external
About you
Experience gained by any accounts payable/receivable or administrative experience ideally within a high-volume environment. However, this is not essential as full training will be provided
Strong communication skills to be able to liaise with internal colleagues and customers is essential
Organised and able to manage a high volume of workload in a fast paced environment
Confident talking on the phone and under pressure
Proactive, Enthusiastic individual and able to build strong working relationships
A good level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is also desirable
