Axon Moore are delighted to be working with this growing PE backed SME seeking to appoint its first CFO. A strategic finance leadership role that has broad scope and partners with the CEO it will suit an individual seeking to make a significant contribution to a fast growing business targeting a transaction in the coming years. This role plays a vital park in the evolution of the business and will see the successful applicant acting as the main point of contact for investors/external shareholders whilst proactively assisting in the management and engagement of the Board, Senior Management team and wider business.
To be considered for the role you will be ACA/CIMA qualified and have a proven track record at FD/CFO level. A strong track record of accurate budgeting/forecasting whilst working effectively in private equity/leveraged environments and experience of significant corporate development activities (acquisitions, disposals, transactions, refinancing) would be beneficial. Comparable industry and sector experience in Professional Services, Business Services or other people centric organisations would be advantageous.
Hand in hand with the technical exposure and experience the role requires an individual who has strong interpersonal skills, the ability to challenge, communicate and manage at all levels. A high level of integrity and gravitas is a must as well as a commercial focus and drive.
Given the size of the business a willingness to "roll up sleeves" and be hands on to get things done is also key.
The successful applicant will be rewarded by working for a business where they have the opportunity to influence, support and drive change. Equity will be included as part of the package.
