Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working in partnership with a leading manufacturing company based in the Rotherham area with this newly created opportunity.
This is an exciting, rare and newly created position where you will be responsible for all reporting for the finance function including company cash flow. The finance team are a very friendly and down to earth bunch who enjoy their roles and really like to do a good job… You will personally be supported by the finance management team to ensure you have everything at your disposal to be successful.
Summary of the role:
Building of new reports inline with new reporting deadlines that will be put in place due
to company expansion and growth (some of these below reports aren't yet in place and
the successful candidate will play a helping hand in setting these up).
Reporting of cash flow with understanding and commentary of everything which goes into the cash flow and reporting on all Purchase and Sales Ledger (payments in/payments out etc.).
Continuous system/process improvement.
Ensure debts are received and report in ledgers.
Processing/authorising payments/BACS runs.
Overseeing - petty cash, expenses and acting as "senior/go-to" to the Ledger Clerks and be first point of contact for all queries.
Person specification:
Confident, personable, resilient and hardworking individual who is happy to help and support a team whilst also remaining hands on and managing all reporting processes. Strong understanding of Purchase and Sales Ledger with a keen desire to improve efficiencies. Strong reporting skills/experience. Strong excel. Ability to manipulate data.
