Group Financial Controller

Sharp Consultancy are currently working on a retained basis for a well-known market leading specialist based in the Sheffield area who are looking for a Group FC to oversee the group finance function.

Our client is a specialist within a growing sector of Industry. Having strong market share both within the local and international markets, offering ground-breaking products and award-winning product support.

You will be reporting directly into the Group FD with a clear directive to lead and manage the Group Finance function, as well as deputising for the Group FD whenever necessary you will also be responsible for a medium sized finance team including Accountants, Analysts, Payroll, Ledgers, credit control and accounts assistants.

Other key responsibilities will include;
*Group reporting including listed company reporting
*Management and financial accounting
*Forecasting, and budgeting
*Monthly management meetings and KPI reporting
*Profit and margin analysis
*Process developments as well as managing the year end audit process.

You must be a qualified accountant, ideally having qualified within the profession having since moved into an industry leadership role with significant strengths around people management and stakeholder leadership.
