Senior Financial Accountant | £50,000 - £55,000 | East London
- Broad position in small & supportive Finance team Mix of Financial & Management accounting and Business Partnering Great role for someone with a Practice background
Reporting to the Finance Director key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the month-end and year-end closures Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Controlling of the accounting process for inventory (WIP & finished goods) Producing the monthly consolidated management information and board report summary
- Liaising with departmental managers regarding the financial performance of their cost centers Assisting the Finance Director with the year-end audit process and production of the UK Statutory accounts. Preparation of the information required for UK corporation tax returns Offering professional judgement on VAT legislation and customs compliance
- Assisting in the annual budget and forecasting process
Desired skills and experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA)A knowledge of IFRS and indirect taxes
- Proficient in Microsoft excel skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
