A Central London Bank requires a hybrid PM/BA to join them for a 9 month Fixed Term Contract. The aim of the project is to have complete compliance with CRR2 rules. This role will take lead on the CRR II Implementation Project and report to the Head of Regulatory Reporting. It is an ideal step into Project Management or you could be a well-versed PM who likes getting into the detail.


As the Lead BA or PM you will see the full lifecycle of the project and will drive it forward ensuring its delivery. You will work with Vermeg consultants, developers and IT solution architects. The communication and coordination of stakeholders is vital to the project’s success.


Your responsibilities will include preparing and managing all aspects of the CRR 2 project compliance. This involves project and resourcing planning, setting up and embedding project governance, gathering business requirements, planning strategy and approach documents as well as executing UAT test scripts and budget tracking.


Further Duties:
· Co-ordinate test environment, code promotion, release and ‘roll-back’ contingency planning.
· Prepare project status packs including a project health and RAID log
· Analyse and understand the detailed requirements of CRR 2
· Perform a regulatory gap analysis
· Conduct roadshows to stakeholders outlining the impacts and business workflow requirements
· Assist in data mining and and test data items for accuracy and relevance
· Working with Vermeg consultants to ensure accurate calculation and reporting based on CRR 2 rules

 

Skills and experience

It is essential that you have:
- Worked as a Project Manager and/or Senior Business Analyst
- Regulatory experience in CRR2 and COREP
- Working knowledge of the technical rules regarding Credit Risk, Counterparty Risk, Market Risk, Large Exposures, Leverage ratio and NSFR


Ideally you will have an Accounting Qualification and Project qualification such as Prince II, Agile, MSP but this is not essential.


You will be able to demonstrate a history in collaborating and influencing the direction of projects to secure necessary sign-off. Plus be experienced with managing IT consultants and developers.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to manipulate and interrogate large volumes of data using strong excel/SQL or VBA skills is also essential.


This is a 9 month contract paying up to £115,000.
