Earlier this year a new Group Financial Controller joined, and he is leading the finance function to support the Group in meeting its ambitions. The most senior commercial finance role within the finance function is the Commercial Finance Manager role – it is a fantastic opportunity for a Controller level candidate or a candidate in practice with strong modelling and “plc standard” presentation skills.
Key duties and responsibilities include;
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Line management of finance business partners, data analyst and partnerships manager
- Financial covenant reporting
- Managing KPI reporting
- Feeding in data into the investor presentations
- Bringing together the divisional analysis alongside group central overheads and debt
- Reviewing the output and analysis of the team
- Ownership of the Group valuations process, ensuring that the outputs are fully understood and fed into reporting process in a timely manner
- Improving the data and related processes with a view to providing good insight in a timely manner ensuring that key data is available and up to date.
This opportunity needs candidates that are qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA. Other skills required are;
- Significant experience in a Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering role
- Relevant industry experience or a demonstrable proactive approach to developing relevant experience previously
- Team/line management experience
- Experience of managing multiple senior level stakeholders
- Collaborative approach with a desire to build relationships
