Accounts Senior

A vacancy has arisen in the Hertfordshire office of a well-established 7 partner firm of Accountants for an Accounts Senior to work on an interesting portfolio of clients dealing with a variety of their accounting and bookkeeping requirements.

Your role will be that of a general practitioner and as such you can expect to be involved in all aspects of Accounts including accounts preparation from incomplete records, audit, the preparation of tax returns; both personal and corporate, bookkeeping and client advisory work where appropriate.

Our ideal candidate will have worked in a firm of accountants in a similar role for at least two years and be keen to continue their career in a supportive environment.
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have strong IT skills having worked with accounts preparation packages such as IRIS and online accounting systems such as Xero and SAGE and Microsoft Office Suite in particular.

If you fit the above criteria and consider yourself to be a self-motivated individual with good communication skills and are willing to work at client premises (mostly local but occasional travel to London) then we would very much like to hear from you. Further study support for professional exams can be provided where required.
